PhD. Graduate
Kevin Grasso works on the semantics and syntax of Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek. His dissertation on verbs of judgment in Biblical Hebrew develops a methodology for doing lexical semantics on a dead language like Biblical Hebrew using syntax and categories developed in formal semantics. His broader academic concern is to help bridge the gap between traditional Biblical Hebrew grammar and theoretical linguistics. Kevin is also the founder of a software company to teach Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek using modern second language acquisition methods. He lives with his wife Rachel and his son Emmett in the Atlanta, GA area and is waiting to bring home his two adopted daughters from Liberia.
